About me ...
Updated 19 May 2012
Before I could walk … or so my Mother tells me … the excitement and glamour of jewellery caught my eye.

A flair for design, understanding of colour, balance and proportion enables me to create a flamboyant and eye-catching range.

I have completed many workshops conducted by leaders in the fashion jewellery field and to this day still enrol in courses to expand my knowledge.

Components are sorced from a network of trusted suppliers and dealers, some of whom consult for various jewellery publications.  Considerable time is also spent on research and study.
A particular interest in vintage and antique (resulting I think, from daring childhood raids into my Grandmother's jewellery box) has led to many pieces incorporating scarce, collectable and valuable items which date as far back as the late 1800s.

The Art Deco Period, with its bold designs and geometry, plus the glamour 'movie star' costume jewellery of the '40s, '50s & '60s are strong influences in much of my work.

My selection features semi-precious gemstones, including the rare and unusual, freshwater pearls, Swarovski, as well as re-fashioned mint, uncirculated and pre-loved costume components from yesteryear.

I create every single piece of jewellery and no two are ever exactly the same.  Dramatic designs often take hours to plan and days to complete.

My work has sold internationally to the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand and has been featured in a number of galleries in Sydney.

Born and raised in New Zealand, the vibrant and cosmopolitan inner-west of Sydney has been my home for several decades.
